Shipping policy

OVERVIEW
At Catmania, we aim to provide smooth, reliable deliveries. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, estimated delivery times, coverage areas, and conditions. By placing an order with Catmania, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
SECTION 1 – DELIVERY COVERAGE
We currently deliver to the following areas:

Hulhumale

Hulhule
-
Boat deliveries within Male’
Overseas delivery is not available at this time.
SECTION 2 – DELIVERY HOURS
Male’: 20:00 – 21:00
Hulhumalé: 19:00 – 20:00
Delivery times are estimates. Minor delays of up to one hour may occur during periods of high order volume. Customers will be notified if delays occur.
Early delivery requests are currently only available for deliveries within Male’ and are subject to product availability, order volume, and warehouse capacity. We hope to offer this option in Hulhumalé in the future. Contact our support team with your order number to request early delivery.
SECTION 3 – DELIVERY PERIOD
Orders are generally delivered within 1–2 days, depending on product availability and daily scheduling. Exact delivery times are not guaranteed and may vary due to order volume, product availability, or logistical considerations.
SECTION 4 – SAME-DAY DELIVERY
Same-day delivery may be available for selected items if:

The order is placed early

The product is readily available

Delivery capacity allows
Same-day delivery is not guaranteed. Customers are strongly encouraged to place orders at least 24 hours in advance to ensure timely delivery.
SECTION 5 – LITTER DELIVERIES
Litter orders are high-volume and may require additional handling. To ensure timely delivery:

All litter orders, including bulk or multiple-unit orders, must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.

Same-day delivery for litter cannot be guaranteed.

Deliveries are scheduled in the order received to ensure fairness and safety.
SECTION 6 – ORDER CUT-OFF TIMES
Certain items, including litter, litter boxes, and bulky products, are stored in our warehouse, which closes daily at 14:00. Orders placed after this time may be processed the next working day.
Meeting the cut-off does not guarantee same-day delivery, especially for bulky items that require extra handling.
SECTION 7 – NON-WORKING DAYS
Catmania is closed on Fridays and selected public holidays. Delivery and self-collection services will not be available on these days.
Public holiday closures will be announced via our website announcement bar and social media platforms. Orders placed on a Friday, a public holiday, or the day before a scheduled closure will be delivered on the next working day.
SECTION 8 – BOAT DELIVERIES
For boat deliveries, orders must be placed at least 24 hours prior to departure. Delivery timing may vary based on boat schedules. Customers may be contacted for additional details to ensure timely delivery.
SECTION 9 – SELF PICK-UP
Self pick-up is available for selected orders from Male’. Customers will receive an email notification with pick-up details when their order is ready. Additional contact will only be made if clarification is required.
SECTION 10 – ORDER TRACKING
Live tracking is not available. Once an order is out for delivery, customers will receive an email notification. After notification, orders are generally delivered within approximately one hour, subject to operational conditions.
SECTION 11 – SHIPPING FEES
We offer free shipping store-wide for all orders above MVR 200.
For orders below MVR 200, a delivery fee of MVR 15 will apply.
SECTION 12 – RESPONSIBILITY FOR DELIVERIES
Catmania is responsible for transporting all products to customers. We take care to ensure your order is delivered safely.
However, Catmania cannot be held responsible for damage or loss that occurs after the product has been delivered to the customer’s address.
SECTION 13 – DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY FOR DELAYS OR LOSS
While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, delays or failures may occur due to:

High order volumes

Traffic or weather conditions

Operational or logistical issues
Catmania is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
SECTION 14 – RIGHT TO REFUSE OR CANCEL DELIVERY
Catmania reserves the right to refuse or cancel delivery if an order cannot be fulfilled due to:

Logistical constraints

Operational or safety limitations
Customers will be notified if their order is affected.
